Our beloved teacher Jōshu Sasaki Rōshi passed away at 4:25 p.m on July 27th, 2014 at Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. Samu (Silent Work Practice) is held daily Wednesday through Friday. Work practice usually involves temple cleaning and gardening. Please come to the work bell in your work clothes. Shika or Shoji will give instruction.
