花祭り(Hana-matsuri)

Buddha’s Birthday, also known as Hana-matsuri 花祭り (Flower festival) is one of the Three Buddha Ceremonies. It is also a tradition at Rinzai-ji to commemorate our founder, Jōshū Sasaki Rōshi’s birthday on this day.
