Nirvana Ōzesshin

$500Please join us at Nirvana Ōzesshin commemorating the death and entrance into Nirvana of Shakyamuni Buddha. This Sesshin will take place at Mt.Baldy Zen Center in Sun Bernardino County.
Rinzai-ji is pleased to announce that Shōkyū Minakawa Rōshi from Jōshū Rōshi’s ordination temple, Zuiryū-ji in Sapporo, is returning to lead the Nirvana Ōzesshin once again. There will be daily Teishō on Mumonkan and Sanzen.
Hashinkyū-ji: Monday, February 12th | Banka 4:00 p.m.
Sesshin: February 13th (Tue) – 17th (Sat)
Nirvana Ceremony: Sunday, February 18th
A transportation to Mt.Baldy will be arranged if you’re flying to LAX. For those who are flying into Ontario, please contact Mt.Baldy office directly to make your arrival arrangement.
The cost to attend is $500. If you need financial assistance, please email office@rinzaiji.org, work exchange or reduced fees may be available to those who would otherwise be unable to attend. We look forward to practicing with you soon!
