Please join us at Nirvana Ōzesshin commemorating the death and entrance into Nirvana of Shakyamuni Buddha.

Rinzai-ji is pleased to announce that Minakawa Rōshi from Jōshū Rōshi’s ordination temple, Zuiryū-ji in Sapporo, is returning to lead the Nirvana Ōzesshin once again. There will be daily Teishō and Dokusan for those who wish to do Kōan practice. 

Hashinkyū-ji: Sunday, February 9th | Banka 4:00 p.m. 
Sesshin: February 10th (Mon) – 14th (Fri)
Nirvana Ceremony: Saturday, February 15th

A transportation to Mt.Baldy will be arranged if you’re flying to LAX. For those who are flying into Ontario, please contact Mt.Baldy office to make your arrival arrangement.
