It is our honor that Shaku Kōjyu Oshō from Daishū-in West is able to return and lead this online half-day Zazenkai. This is a great oppotunity to immerse yourself into Rinzai practice for concentrated time on the weekend.

It will be an online retreat, including a dharma talk from Kojyū Osho. Off-line time will be built into the schedule to allow for meals, work practice at your home, and kinhin.

Suggested Contribution: $25. We know that some people are struggling financially, and we want to make these offerings available to everyone, regardless of ability to pay. If you can afford more, please consider giving at a higher level to help others.

Shaku Kōjyu is American monk who has spent 10 years in Japan as Unsui, a training monk at Kōshō-ji for 3 years then Daitoku-ji training monastery in Kyōto for 7 years. Last August, Kōjyu was installed as the second abbot of Daishu-in West in Humboldt county, CA. Daishū-in is a sub-temple of Myoshin-ji located at Ryōan-ji temple. Daishū-in West is one of 3 Myōshin-ji international branch temples in the United States.
